Foolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge 3 6-oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips (3 cups)
1 14-oz can Eagle Brand condensed milk (not evaporated!)
1 Dash of salt
1/2 c Chopped nuts (to 1 cup)
1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with milk and salt. remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8 or 9-inch square pan. chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temp. MICROWAVE: In qt glass measure, combine chips with milk and salt. Cook on 100% (high) for 3 minutes or until chips melt, stirring after each 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Preceed as above.
